| I've always loved the story of Lazarus. What a whirlwind of emotions: sadness at loss, blame for not being there, fear of stoning, impetuous enthusiasm for risk, trust in Jesus, awe at the power of God….. Through it all, Jesus is calm and tender. He is there. He is life. He is friend. What more could we ask for any day. |
