Leviticus 19:1-2;11-18

Matthew 25:31-46

Scripture
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Reflection
Why is there such disparity among us? One family has five palatial houses and a private jet to take them from one to the other, while another family lives in an old car. I rage at the injustice.

A voice says, "Tell me, don't you have an empty room in your house? And don't you know there are neighbors sleeping under the bridge not two miles away?"

"Who is my neighbor?" I ask, "and why is love so hard?"

Mantra
Help me love my neighbor; help me love myself.
