BEING CATHOLIC: A NEW (AND OLD) STRUGGLE How does a Catholic woman stay committed to her church when she feels that scandal has rocked its foundations? What happens to her spiritual life? How does she relate to a leadership that persists in allowing her less than equal participation. Women have found various ways of coming to terms with this lack of power in their church and have been able to keep their personal spiritual lives in tact. Some women have left the church, found other communities. Still others have left and returned to what they regard as their spiritual home. Looking at the experiences of these women might help clarify our dilemmas. Led by Sheila
Albert, Ph.D. Cost: $48. Please make reservations.
