A FATHER'S BLESSING

A Father's blessing means to a child that he or she is seen and recognized by the father as a unique person who is loved for being who he or she is.

This experiential workshop for women and men heightens the significance, understanding, and importance of a father's blessing. It will help heal the pain of our not being blessed by our fathers and renew our commitment not to let that lack of blessing happen to our children.

We will use imagery, story telling, ritual and music to see, love, and recognize the uniqueness of each child or grandchild. "It is never too late to bless a child."

Led by David Capitolo, M.A., MFT
David Capitolo is a psychotherapist in private practice in San Rafael and Santa Rosa, married 37 years and father of three grown children. He has an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
