A Journey of Women With drum and song, using stories both fierce and tender, warm and cold, of diverse heroines, crones, martyrs, and magicians, Antoinette will bring fresh perspectives on the feminine (in women and men alike.) Antoinette Botsford, (teller of stories traditional and true,) who is of French Canadian and Metis (Athabaskan/Ojibway) heritage, holds master's degree in mythology and a doctorate from UCLA in theater arts with an emphasis on the history of puppetry. She has studied with folk artists in several foreign countries. Antoinette performs in prisons, colleges, elementary and secondary schools. Cost: $12. Please make reservations. |
