SABBATH AT THE CENTER

In the midst of their busy lives, Jesus tells his disciples to "come with me to a quiet place all by yourselves and rest for awhile." (Mk. 6.31) In the spirit of true Sabbath rest, we offer this opportunity to come away, to step aside from life's busyness and routine, and to immerse yourself in the silence and solitude that Angela Center provides.

The more often we abandon ourselves to God's rest, the more space we give God to enter us and transform us from within. In the gift of Sabbath silence, we begin to unwind and take on different eyes--Sabbath eyes that are relaxed and open enough to find God in "being" as well as in "doing." We invite you to come make use of our quiet spaces, lounge, chapel, labyrinths, gardens and hillside. Feel free to come for all or any part of the day.

Cost: By donation. Please let us know you are coming. Bring a bag lunch. Coffee and tea provided.
