SHAPING A LIFE The hours: we measure them deftly as we go along, bundle them into days, weeks, years, a lifetime; but to name the process and to give it shape and meaning takes a special kind of intention. Virginia Woolf began the process with a drawing and from that image fashioned a novel that helped her make peace with her first twenty years. Writing doesn't make everything all right; but the perspective gained breaks new ground in healing the past and clarifying the present. During this weekend we will use stories of Woolf and others to help us gather the stuff of our own stories. We will also use art and film to help us explore, in the privacy of our individual journals, and in the container that the weekend provides, the patterns of our fascinating lives. Led by Donna
Hardy, M.A., MFT Cost: The cost for a room of one's own, tuition and meals is $230. Please mail your check with your registration.
