Writers Camp: Finding Room for Your Creative Self
--With Donna Hardy and Clare Morris as Space Makers, 7: 30 p.m. Sunday, August 17, through lunch, Friday, August 22, 2003.

If what you want from a week of writing is time to write, if you have a project you ache to get to but never find the space for, this is for you. We plan, midst lots of silence, to offer the perfect combination of Writing Time and Other Time. There will be opportunities to get feedback from other women who write. Evenings will be for readings, revelations, maybe a movie or two for inspiration.
Bring your laptop and your writer's notebooks; and because there's more to writing than writing, bring your journal, your sketch pad, your needlepoint, your swim suit, your flip flops, your walking shoes.
Clare Morris and Donna Hardy have been leading writing workshops, together and separately, for many years. They are skillful at making and holding space where people can do their own creative work.
Angela Center is located among the vineyards and the playing fields at the edge of Santa Rosa. The building and grounds support finding a place for solitude. There is good walking space. The swimming pool is large and a few steps from the Center. You will have a room of your own with a desk and hot and cold running water. The toilet and showers are down the hall. The meals will be better than you remember from Girl Scout Camp.
Enrolment is limited to 24 women.

The total cost is $500.
