Scripture |
"But
I say to you, love your enemies . . . " |
Reflection |
We
grow in wisdom and strength among our friends. We learn goodness and
kindness; we develop a sense of loyalty, duty, charity and humor.
We learn to love. But to love our enemies? Oh, Lord, you expect too
much of us. What has my enemy ever taught me?-other than to move beyond
my comfort level, to consider another point of view, to take care
of myself in dark stretches, to be watchful of moving objects, to
be a little more careful of love than of anything. |
Mantra |
Help me move beyond my comfort. |
