Hope is always
here: at the bottom of the box, or just around the corner, or
on the other side of wherever hope is not. She may come in disguise
at Halloween, when the veil between the worlds is thin, when saints
and sinners mingle warily at the edges. She may help us to light
a new fire.
This will be a weekend of mythic revelations about hope. We will
use ancient and modern variations of the myth of Pandora to tune
us into our own stories of treachery and triumph. Our work will
be held in the privacy of our individual journals and there are
invitations to share what wants to be shared. What the weekend
adds to our journaling is time and structure and someone else
to cook and clean the counters.
Donna Hardy
and Clare Morris are teachers and psychotherapists who have been
leading journal weekends at Angela Center for a long time. Enrollment
is limited to 24 women.
Cost: The
cost for a room of one's own, tuition, and meals is $385.
Note:
A $100 deposit will hold your place on the roster. Your
deposit (less a $35 non-refundable registration fee) will be
returned to you if you cancel before Oct. 7.
