When we don't acknowledge our own seasons, our own temperaments, our own timing, we are apt to get pulled into someone else's dance, follow the wrong piper home, spend our precious resources on what neither satisfies, nor nourishes, nor serves the greater good. This weekend we will look at significant lives, real and mythic, and contemplate-in the privacy of our journals and in the rich sharing that is part of the weekend-what we want to hang on to and what we might let go.
