Reflection
Daily we are invited to join Jesus in His mission of love. All He did, He did for others. He expects the same of us.

The day-to-day living is not always exciting or fun. When it is, we should rejoice and be glad with our smiling God. But when there is tedium, pray as Jesus did. When there is betrayal, persist like Jesus. And when there is suffering, remember the cross.

Jesus knew that He would be betrayed by a loved one, condemned by authority, and suffer grievously in His innocence. He also knew that His death would give way to resurrection and that He would then be with His loving and beloved Father forever. So, too, we can look forward to both death and resurrection.

Daily Jesus loved us, and daily we are to take up our cross and follow Him. Daily we are called to love and be loved.

Mantra
Keep me faithful to my cross.
