Reflection for December 6, 2017

We can find all that is necessary in the present moment.  If we have abandoned ourselves to God, there is only one rule for us: the duty of the present moment. “What does this moment ask of me?” is always the right question.

When Paul says to “pray always” he can’t mean to walk around praying or chanting psalms all day.  Prayer is a total-life stance.  It is a way of being present in the world in which we are present to the Presence and present to the Presence in all things.
